Design Engineers Office Recognized

USGBC & Corridor Business Journal Recognize LEED Certification

The United States Green Building Council, Iowa Chapter, and the Corridor Business Journal today recognized the engineering and design accomplishments of the Design Engineers offices with and award for Excellence in Sustainable Building. Designed in 2008 in collaboration with OPN Architects, the space achieved a LEED Gold rating in 2010.

The completed building uses 55% less energy than a code-compliant building. The water conservation features will save over 30% of the water of a standard building.
