Borlaug Elementary School Earns Alliant Energy’s “Excellence in Energy Efficiency” Award

Borlaug Elementary School Project was selected as one of the best energy-efficient design projects completed in 2012 in Alliant Energy’s “Commercial New Construction” program. This Design Engineers projects was only one of ten award winners from over 100 projects submitted for consideration.

This award is a true testament to the commitment to energy conservation and sustainability shared by Design Engineers, their partners, and their clients. Kudos to the Iowa City Community School District’s vision for this progressive and important project.
