DE Welcomes New Senior Electrical Consultant

Design Engineers is pleased to welcome Brad Biddick as Senior Electrical Consultant. Biddick brings 23 years of experience as a consultant in all facets of building systems. In his new position, Brad will take on projects in the role of Lead Electrical and Project Manager at Design Engineers’ growing Madison-based office.

“We are very excited to welcome Brad Biddick to the DE team here in Madison,” said Neil Gammon, Senior Electrical Engineer and Associate Principal at the Design Engineers office located in Middleton, Wisconsin. “Brad brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our electrical design practice. He is also well known and respected as a design professional here in the Madison area. He will be using his leadership skills to manage projects and mentor staff members to continue advancement of DE’s impact on the consulting industry here in Wisconsin and beyond.”

Additionally, Biddick’s passion for lighting design is an excellent complement to the lighting team. “Historically, DE has offered lighting design as part of our basic services,” said Jonathan Gettler, Senior Electrical Engineer and Principal at the Design Engineers headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. “But Brad’s technical expertise and experience offering lighting design as a specific design service adds another layer to our lighting design capabilities.”

Biddick’s ambition and approach to electrical design will be a great fit with the culture and level of client service DE prides itself upon. “Not only does Brad bring in his technical expertise, but the other thing that makes him a really great addition to the team is his practical, common sense design approach—something our clients really appreciate in the work we do,” stated Gettler. “Brad is very reasonable in the way that he tackles a problem, which is exactly how we do things here at DE.”
