A Photo of University of Iowa Art Building Replacement Selected As Favorite Among UI Photographers

Photographers in the UI Office of Strategic Communication have selected their top 15 favorite photos of 2015, and the Art Building Replacement project was among them!

“Campus construction was in full swing in 2015, with many flood-recovery projects starting to wrap up. One such project is the new Art Building. Slated to open in summer 2016 to the north and west of Art Building West, the facility will contain 126,000 square feet of loft-like space for the studio arts departments. Much of the light for the interior atrium area will come from overhead skylights through the interior shading device like the one shown here. Photo by Tim Schoon.”
