2014 Excellence in Energy Efficient Design Awards

Three of Design Engineers’ projects have recently earned Alliant Energy’s “Excellence in Energy Efficient Design Awards.”

First, is Cedar Rapids Public Library. CRPL’s design achieved a 56% kBTU savings compared to the program baseline.

Second, is University of Dubuque Heritage Center. This project achieved a 61% kBTU savings.

Third, is Cedar Rapids Central Fire Station. This project achieved a whopping 73% kBTU savings. Central Fire Station is the highest performer for Alliant Energy this year.
