CRPL Picked “Editor’s Choice”
Cedar Rapids Public Library was featured on the cover of this month’s Interiors & Sources!
The project was selected as their ‘Editors’ Choice’ – a can’t miss project for 2013. The editors liked the project so much they featured it as the cover shot. Congratulations to the library team on this national-level recognition!
From the article: “The new building is 10,000 square feet larger than the old one, but will use only 1/3 the energy, thanks to a geothermal heating system, and efficient building envelope, and the extensive use of daylight harvesting. The building is targeting LEED Platinum certification.
